What do you wish for?

‘Omar bin Khattab once asked those around him, ‘What do you wish for?’ One of them replied, ‘I wish this room was full of gold so that I can spend it in the sake of Allah’. He asked again, ‘What do you wish for?’ Another man replied, ‘I wish this room was full of pearls and emeralds so that I can spend it in the sake of Allah’. Omar asked again, ‘What do you wish for?’ They replied, ‘We do not know, O Amir Al-Mu’mineen‘.
Omar said, ‘I wish that this room was full of men like Abu ‘Ubaida bin Al-Jarrah, Mu’ath Ibn Jabal, Salem Maula Abi Huthaifa, and Huthaifa bin Al-Yaman‘.
