Respond

Resisting sleep is not easy nowadays with work, family, and all. But what do you do when you have that nagging ache in your heart? How do you relieve it? I think, We Muslims, all have a common need. We all have that need to repent. For what? Only you know your shortcoming, and I, mine.
The Prophet, salah allahu ‘alayhi wa salam, said in a Hadith Qudsi narrated by Al-Bukhari:
In the last third of every night Allah descends to the lowermost heaven and says; “Who is calling Me, so that I may answer him? Who is asking Me so that may I grant him? Who is seeking forgiveness from Me so that I may forgive him?
Let’s begin tonight and pray to Allah seeking his forgiveness and love. For his forgiveness is a step closer to paradise. I think if we were offered money to wake up at 1am, most of us would be happy do it. Actually, we would probably jump out of bed.
Allah is more worthy, isn’t He?
He is calling upon you. Now, Respond.
